We restrict the train to 60km/h and over the bad sections reduce speed to as little as 20km/h.”

The train travels though South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, the Sudan and Egypt and sometimes more than one or two if the countries. You will require at least three blank visa pages and a passport that will be valid for six months after your date of return to your home country.
There is a basic first aid kit on board and during some trips there is a physician traveling aboard the train. Guests are recommended to take anti malaria precautions during their trip.
